I'm in the planning stages of our trip, I need Cheesesteak sandwiches... Lots of 'em. Can you direct me to CS and other sources of this heart stopping snack? Pictures/Prices?

Keep in mind that the TS meals on our plan have been dedicated to Characters, Fish, Fantasmic, and Ketchup.

Thanks! :teeth:

Here is what I have come up with.

All Star's Food Court
Caribbean Beach Food Court
Grand Floridian Cafe (Lunch)
Port Orleans Food Court
Swan's Splash Grill and Deli (poolside)
Swan's Garden Grove Cafe
All Star Cafe

PHILADELPHIA!!!! :rotfl2:

EXACTLY... you can't get the "almighty" CHEESESTEAK anywhere but PHILADELPHIA...

gosh I miss cheesesteaks, it's the first thing I go for when I land in Philadelphia!....... Geno's, Pat's and our local suburban shops Ray's and Pudges.....

May I suggest you skip the cheesesteaks at Disney? If you are from the Philly area you will only be dissapointed. Whenever I break down and order a cheesesteak from home I always regret it. Think how good that first steak will be when you get home! I always know I'm home when I see my first WAWA store. No matter where you go its always nice to know you're home!

They have a counter service for cheese steaks across from the drew carey show in mgm, it looks like a cart and my husband and kids think they are \
pretty good.

I thought the exact same thing as soon as I read this post. Another south jerseyite here. Well South Carolina now. We had a cheesesteak from a little Kiosk in MGM near Indiana Jones stunt show that wasnt to bad.

Sadly, that stand in MGM near Indy no longer offers those cheesesteak sandwiches (which were wonderful).

Perdidobay - PLEASEEEEE tell me thats not true

Just had them last August - lWHEN did they close??? ove em - only time i bother to eat lunch.

Not as good as in Philly I'm SURE, but while at WDW I like the cheesesteak at the Plaza Restaurant in MK. Love the cheese they use and the roll has always been super fresh. The one at the ESPN Club is a winner also.

The Roaring Fork at the WL also have cheesesteaks. I have never had one there.

UPDATE:
I just saw the new menu for the RF and the cheesesteak isn't on it.

The Plaza restaurant in the Magic Kingdom has cheesesteaks that are pretty good!

Another vote for true Philly cheesesteaks though our favorite is Tony Luke's. My DD has had the cheesesteak at the Plaza and pronounced that it was decent for WDW. The roll was OK, not like the rolls in Philly, and the cheese was American (no Cheez Whiz here). She did enjoy it and said that she would order it again.

What is it about the bread in the Philly rolls?? It is just not the same anywhere - I always said it was the water from the Schuylkill (wow after 3 years I can still spell it!). I make my family bring a pack of Amoroso's when they come!

The unofficial guide lists the MGM location as being the "Dip Site" and it is supposedly open "seasonally" although I've yet to figure out what that means. We're going to try there at end of April, so will let you know then.

DH (who gets his w/o cheese:confused3 ) has been lusting for one @ the AS Mo. He didn't get his "fix" last time & I've been hearing it ever since.

He thinks it's one of the best he's ever eaten. I think he was just sick of eating hamburgers @ WDW.;)

PUDGES!! :thumbsup2

You're quite the connoisseur to know about Pudges. It's close to my house and sooo delicious. Why don't I go there more? :confused3

That's it. Forget the salad. I'm having a cheesesteak for lunch.

Thanks everyone, but Philly is a bit of a side visit from both home and WDW. :) The closest I've been to Philly was last year when we were in DC for the inaguration... Had a "cheesesteak" that was neither cheese, nor steak. Now I'm wishing that we hadn't been hit with the snowstorm, I could have made that trip from just outside of Baltimore, maybe next time... ;)
