I like getting something from Pete's Boiler Bites on the pool deck.Any tips on where to get something to eat when you initially board the ship? 2005 was our last DCL but I remember having a hard time trying to find some lunch. We are doing the earliest boarding for NYC-Bermuda in Oct and I can't wait!! I get hangry if I don't keep my belly full......![]()
What time does Luimeres open for lunch? I know some people prefer that to the buffet. Personally we always do Cabanas because shrimp.
It happened to us once or twice that Cabanas was not opened yet when we boarded. We were Concierge and omitted going directly to the lounge. Both the dining room and the buffet were still closed. We had to wait around 15 minutes.Cabanas buffet is always open before passengers board so you won't get hangry!
The restaurant times will be listed in the Navigator. You will receive a hard copy when you check in or you can download the app. The app will start working when you board.

I was just going to mention those! Not sure if they’re available as soon as you board the ship though. I wish the Dream had them because they are delicious. I’ll be booking a placeholder on my upcoming Cruise next month. I’ve been looking at 5-night cruises out of Miami on the Magic so I’m really looking forward to it experiencing a new ship and lots of Shawarma.Shawarma!
Feb '17 we went down to the restaurant that was in the place of Rapunzel's Royal Court to eat. I prefer something that over the Cabanas. So my question is have they moved it to Lumieres?Only thing on Deck 2 on Magic would be room service in your cabin. Is that what you mean?
OP, Cabanas will be open and I believe Lumiere's will also be open when you board plus all the quick serve options up on Deck 9.

The embarkation lunch in Rapunzel’s is now limited to Concierge guests. Other guests can have lunch in Lumieres.Feb '17 we went down to the restaurant that was in the place of Rapunzel's Royal Court to eat. I prefer something that over the Cabanas. So my question is have they moved it to Lumieres?
