You can start by buying the sunday paper for coupons. You can join one of the coupon trains on the budget board. I am on it and I like swapping coupons. I sometimes end up saving about 30 dollars or so about every six weeks I go shopping. You can also look at the other threads that talk about eating at home instead of going out to eat as that can be a real budget buster.Once you learn how to coupon you want to keep learning how to keep saving even more. Hope this helps you out a little. Jo
There's a zillion couponing sites on the web where you can learn.
Try Bargain Brianna, afullcup.com, Saving Everyday, Mr. Coupon (those are the TLC Extreme Couponers), the Grocery Game (a paid site), and so many more.
www.coupons.com has coupons you can print out that you don't have to sign in for. You do have to download a small program to be able to print them out. Some people think the program is a spy program....I dunno. I only have that printing program in one computer at my house.
With that same program, you can get similar coupons @ Mypoints.com and you get points when you use the coupons.
The program also allows you to print out two of each coupon you choose. Once the program begins printing the coupons, you can use your back button and go back to print out the chosen coupons one more time.
If the site offers to allow you to enter your zip code, I put the zip code from a larger city in.....I use 91104 (Pasadena, CA). I think it offers you more coupons if you put in the zip from a larger town.
The Target site offers in-store coupons that you can use WITH manufacturer coupons for a great savings.
