I was wondering where I could get a good steak at Disney. Me (21) and DBF (22) are gonna be at disney for my birthday. I am a huge steak fan and I have had it at Le Cellier (loved it) and Concourse (really bad). I was wondering anywhere I could go for a good steak. Any suggestions??? :flower3:

Although its not a steakhouse, the Filet Mignon at the California Grill is excellent.

We had filet at Yachtsman Steakhouse and Citricos and the Citricos steak put the Yachtsman to shame. It was a fabulous cut of steak - what the Yachtsman should have had.

It may have been a fluke but we would return to Citricos for steak again and it's not necessarily a place known for their steak.

I have been told that Jiko has an excellent filet so we are trying that in Sept.

Thanks for your suggestions, I have heard that the filet at the Calif. Grill is really good. I have also heard about the Yachtsman but not Citricos, is Citricos at GF? :Pinkbounc

Go for the Yachtsman - best on property.

We were disappointed at the Yachtsman. Shula's is probably the best you'll find on property. :thumbsup2

My DH and I enjoyed the filet at the Kona Cafe (Polynesian Resort). It is a low key atmosphere there too - relaxing. And WONDERFUL desserts. We ate there TWICE for dinner and had the filet both times!

Next trip we are going to Le Cellier which I've heard is good but since we are staying at the Poly again ... another meal at Kona is planned!

Always in pursuit of a fine filet, DH has ordered one wherever he could find one during our visits to WDW.

California Grill - been there several times and is consistently delish

Yachtsman Steakhouse - been there 3 times and has been hit or miss. The atmosphere is nice.

Jikos - YUM, YUM, YUM

Le Cellier - been there 2 times and has been very good but not fabulous

Victoria & Albert's - everything was amazing that night. :rolleyes1

Artist's Point - have ADRs for this October. The menu looks tempting. If reality meets the expectation from the menu, we will score another one for DH.

I was at Artist Point 10 days ago and had one of the best beef filets ever--practically melted in your mouth. The next day I tried the filet at Le Cellier. It was good but no match for the one at Artist Point. :thumbsup2

Kona Cafe
We ate dinner at Kona's on our last trip. We have eaten there for breakfast but this was our first trip for dinner.
I am very picky when it comes to steak and Konas was the best I have ever eaten!

This filet is heavenly! It was much better than those at: Jiko, Le Cellier, and CRT. We will be back at CA Grill next month and you can bet I will be ordering the filet!

Shulas at the Dolphin has great steaks...all kinds even a 48oz steak..They'll put your name on a plaque and on their webpage if you finish!!

We have had wonderful steaks at Yachtsman Steakhouse trip after trip. Flying Fish and Artist Point both have excellent steaks, too.

Jiko's for best filet and Flying Fish for NY strip.
