Which (if any) of the bars in the Boardwalk area are the most q-friendly? I'm thinking of taking my wife to Big River, Jellyrolls, and/or Kouzzina for a romantic evening :flower3: ...but she's very sensitive to disapproving stares from strangers. TIA!

Belle Vue Lounge inside the BWI is very cozy and laid back with great drinks and service from Allen or Tim. DW and I have been visiting Allen there each fall for 12 years.

Ooh, this place looks perfect! I'd never heard of it even tho I stayed at BWI once as a kid. Thanks.

We're DVC members and BWV is our home resort. I can reassure you and your wife that we've never had a sideways look while tootling around the boardwalk. We've eaten at the Flying Fish, Spoodles (remember those days?), the
ESPN club and the Big River Grille. WDW is our safe place. We're completely comfortable holding hands and mild pda's and have never experienced a negative reaction from anyone.

When is your trip? :)

Wowie, eventhough I am new to the single scene, that is wonderful to hear!

Thanks for the reassurance! That's really good to hear. :yay: We're planning on going Memorial Day weekend, May 22-27. It's sort of an anniversary trip, since it'll be inbetween our original wedding ceremony date and our legal marriage 2 years ago.

You'll love it! We're arriving on May 31st. Too bad your trip can't extend to gay days! We're excited about experiencing the parks with a lot of "family" around. :goodvibes

I think it's just the weekend, but at Hollywood studios they have shows and parades all Star Wars... It's pretty neat!
