My daughter wants to use her Christmas money to buy more clothes for her Duffy bear. My local Disney Store Outlet told me clothing is only available "In the Parks." Has anyone seen any Duffy clothing in Disneyland? I have relatives who could get clothes for us next time they visit, but I would like to direct them to the right park/store. TIA (high on the wish list are the Sorcerer outfit and the pajamas.

In DCA on Paradise Pier there is a shop across from Ariel's Grotto. They have Duffy clothing, its where we buy it. Or check World of Disney, in Downtown Disney.

I may even call ahead and see if I can get something shipped.

Thanks!

Duffy's presence in DLR has been drastically reduced, including the merchandise. I would agree that your best bets are Elias & Co's plush animal and toy room (Buena Vista Street, DCA), Treasures in Paradise (Paradise Pier, DCA), Disney Showcase (Main Street, DL) and World of Disney (Plush Animal Room, DTD). I've had the best luck at the Elias & Co Toy Room (surprisingly).

You can also keep an eye on DisneyStore.com to see which costumes they get in stock. Right now, it looks like they have Pluto, Stitch, Mickey, and Donald.

I will add those stores to the list and keep checking disneystore.com frequently...I figured these items were on the way out, hence the urgency. I was able to get one of her wish list items on Amazon.com very discounted, but the rest of the ones we want are still pretty marked up. We may make it out to DL this summer, but by that time it may be too late. My daughter carried her Duffy all over WDW this past summer, it is still her best stuffed pal.

My DD, now 8, has been carting her Duffy around with her since we got him at WDW in December 2010 when she was 4. He is pretty much a member of the family. He goes everywhere she does in the house, eats with us, sleeps with her, and goes on all vacations. We have seen the merchandise really reduced over the couple of years in the parks, but every now and then the Disneystore.com will have several outfits available again. Keep an eye on it, you never know when something might pop up. Also keep an eye on Ebay. We had to replace a couple of outfits for DD's Duffy in the last 6 months as they were absolutely worn out (FYI- the mouseketeer outfit t-shirt design flakes off if he is carted around a lot), and by keeping an eye on Ebay I was able to find them at a decent price. What is on her wish list? I will keep an eye out and post if I see anything. I don't know if her wish list includes the different country outfits that were related to EPCOT, but sold at DL as well, but I can tell you if it does they have not had those at WDW or DL for probably the last year to 2 years, and they typically go for high prices on Ebay. Those you will have a hard time finding.

I just noticed that you said high on the wish list were the pajamas and the Sorcerer's outfit. I can tell you that when we were at WDW in October, they still had both of those in stock several places. In November the pajamas were on disneystore.com and they might pop up again. FYI- the pajamas are one of the more expensive sets. I want to say they are around $30 as they come with the slippers and pillow. They are really cute though. We picked those up the year they came out. Our Duffy used to put them on before bed every single night, but luckily he now only wears them occasionally. With Duffy's meet and greet being ended and rumors his merchandise may not continue that long, I would probably call the Disney merchandise number the PP gave you and just pay the shipping. I bet they can get them for you. I know I have purchased a Duffy and his sailor suit through them as a gift for someone in the past year. Their shipping can be a little high, but if it is important to your DD, I would go ahead and do it now.

FYI- Duffy fits well into Build a Bear outfits. Most of the BAB stores have at least a few Disney things. If you do make it to DL this summer, hit the DTD build a bear store. They have a lot of Disney themed outfits. Our Duffy got a Peter Pan outfit there.

Yep- I'm posting again! Sorry for all the posts, but since I see Duffy every night and morning at our house, it made me think of it again. I don't know if the Mickey Mouse costume is of interest, but the Disney Store put that one back on the website at $32.00. It was not on there yesterday when I checked. Also, I know that the pajamas were the same price as that one, so they are $32.00 retail, and with the 8% sales tax at DL if you bought it while there (which I think is the rate), that makes them $34.56 with tax. They are going for around $40 on ebay, which isn't bad, but most people are then adding on an additional $8 to $10 shipping, which does make it a little high. If you keep an eye on ebay though you might find one a little cheaper.

The sorcerer outfit retails for $20 at Disney (the hat lights up)- with 8% tax if you bought it while at DL that puts it at $21.60 with tax. Those are going on ebay for around $30, some with shipping included. That isn't too bad if you think about what businesses usually charge as shipping costs.

Thank you! This is exactly the info I was needing. I have Amazon Prime, sometimes some of the other vendors will be listed as Prime. That's how I got the "My First Trip" outfit for $7.99 and free ship. I have a relative who can get items for me in DL and DTD...so I asked her to stalk the clearance section for me.

I was so sad that they discontinued the meet and greet in California. We could very realistically make it out there this summer, and it would have been cool to hug Duffy on the other coast. I'll admit it makes me less motivated to go to DL at all on this West Coast summer trip...if he were still there, it would be a 100% required side trip.

One of the reasons my dd wants the PJ outfit is so she can change her Duffy for bed. She made Duffy a bed out of a very large shoe box and some doll bedding. She would flip if she got the whole set. Thanks for sending those retail prices, that makes it easier to decide when buying from the secondary sellers is worth it.

Glad to know the Build a Bear clothes fit...I think if we can get at least the 2 outfits on her wish list, she can save money and get other stuff at Build a Bear over time.

You are welcome!! Do go to DLR if you get a chance! Have you been there before? We are WDW vets. I thought we would make one trip to DLR with DD and then be done, and we absolutely fell in love with it. It is absolutely wonderful in its own way. We are alternating between coasts now. The only thing DD misses on out trips there is EPCOT World Showcase. It is so great to have everything within walking distance, and it is basically one park. We hop back and forth all day. Carsland is beautiful, especially at night- and we aren't even cars fans. They have the Monster's Inc. ride, the Alice in Wonderland ride, the Indiana Jones ride, a terrific Aladdin show, Mickey and the magical map and more. POTC is far superior to WDW's version.

I haven't broken the news to DD that Duffy will not be there this summer when we go. He never had a line there. Poor Duffy just stood there a lot of the time. DD would go see him over and over again every time we passed by. On the bright side, at least he was replaced with Oswald. I'm pretty excited about meeting Oswald because I have never seen him have a meet and greet before. DD is excited about meeting Oswald...but at some point I'm going to have to tell her that he kicked Duffy out. ;)

You don't have to tell her that! Duffy left on 9/1/14 and Oswald didn't appear until 9/14/14 and they don't meet in the same location. Oswald meets guests on Buena Vista Street, while Duffy used to meet guests at Paradise Pier.

Oh, I thought he took that spot which was why they booted Duffy! Well, it's good to know she at least can't blame poor Oswald! So is anyone doing a meet and greet in Duffy's old spot now?

The last time we went, there wasn't anything in that spot yet. The background area was taken down and the store had been lacking a lot of the previous Duffy merchandise that was in it during our previous visit(July 2014). This was around the second week of October(2014). I guess that could have changed since then though.

I never saw Oswald at the time either but the shop was up. Perhaps I was too busy darting towards the RSR fastpass to pay attention to him.

Duffy is not very popular in the US, but he's a star at Disney Sea in Tokyo. I was there last month, and saw many, many Duffys being arrived by men, women and children all over the park. One store in the park, Aunt Peg’s Village Store, only sells Duffy and friends and assorted Duffy merchandise. It was jammed! They did have surprisingly few outfits for sale.

When we were in DCA Feb 2013 I remember seeing Duffy outfits in the gift shop across from Soaring. DD wanted them for her build a bear lol I would try calling the merchandise line in previous posts and see if they are still available. Just a thought.

Have you ever thought about making Duffy outfits? I'm not an expert sewer, but I have made a lot of clothes and hats for my kid's Duffy bears and they like them just as much as the $20 and $30 official ones we have from Disney. I made cute one pieces using little kid's shirts, and have made some from scratch. Here is my latest creation, and you can find my first post about it if you scroll down to the bottom of this attached post. https://aleasalbums.wordpress.com/2015/08/26/dressing-duffy-chef-hat-2/

so I asked her to stalk the clearance section for me.
Where is the clearance section???

The best luck we have had for finding Duffy clothes was at the Treasures in Paradise across from Ariel's Grotto. My daughter asks for a new outfit every visit, but they are quite expensive! I'd love to find some marked down...
