Transfers can be done once you reach 1000 pts. and go in increments of 1000, 1500, 2000, 2500 and 3000 pts. They are handled on a quarterly basis with the next quarter ending on March 31.
The "transfer" then takes a couple more months to show up in your CR account. I cashed out in December and the points from that quarter (which ended on 12/31) should show up in my account soon (due late Feb.).
I have cashed out only once before but it went smoothly. It helps if your email address for both CR and LAG are the same but it is not required. However, both the CR and LAG accounts must be registered to the same person. You cannot transfer your LAG points into a friend's or relative's account, they must go into your personal CR account.
Right now, with only 9 daily points and no other way to earn at LAG, it will take you more than 3 months to get to 1000 points. Referrals help (you get 100 pts. for each referral once they reach 200 pts, themselves), but you would have to keep finding new referrals all the time.
Still, I like this program. It doesn't take much time and Chris is a stand-up kind of guy. You know that you'll get your points and your rewards in a timely fashion. And if he anticipates any problems, he always gives the members a heads up over at CR.
