Where to find discounts on Starbucks GC ?

I am thinking to take the easy way out for teachers and babysitters with Starbucks GC this year.

Where can I find good discounts?

I do not think you will find a discount. Sometimes Sams will have a pack of say, four, five dollar card for like 19.96 or some crazy amount but that is about it.

HOWEVER...a 5.00 gift card to starbucks is a perfect choice! Much better than a 5.00 mug or candle!

Target sells Starbucks gift cards... using a Target debit/red card saves 5%

Kroger/Randalls sell Starbucks gift cards and you get double points for gas discounts

If you have a rewards credit card (discover, etc...) often you can "buy" gift cards with points

The 2 main discount gift card websites I go to are Plastic Jungle, and Card Pool. However, Starbucks GC are hard to come by...they sell pretty quick on these sites. On these sites though you probably won't see gift cards for under $25....one time there was a Starbucks GC in the amount of $500!

If you need GC in small amounts like $5, $10 each then your best bet is to buy from Target. Like the previous poster mentioned.

I actually prefer just to buy them from Starbucks. For the few cents I might save, its worth the extra for the cute holder Starbucks usually gives.

Thank you - we shop at Target a lot so maybe that would be the way to go. I am trying to avoid getting more credit/debit cards though. Is the red card a debit or credit card and what do you get for it? %5 off on all purchases?

I have earned free Starbucks GC's on Swagbucks. It would probably take awhile to earn enough for all of your teachers but even if you could knock out 2-3 that way you would be pretty far ahead.

Thanks disnee. I looked at the Plastic Jungle website and that might be worth a try for some $25 GC.
