Where to find characters & princesses?

I'm sure this has been asked 1 billion times before, but I've searched and can't find the information. Is there a list somewhere that is current on where characters can be found throughout the parks & resorts - whether it be meet & greets, meals, etc.?

I'd love to incorporate this into our itineraries in hopes of my kids meeting quite a few.
