Where to find beignets?

i have no idea how to spell that...but they look like fried dough with powdered sugar on top and Tiana makes them. I want to have one while we’re at Disney and wondering where or what restaurant have them? Thanks

Beignets used to be a daily treat while staying at Dixie Landings (now Port Orleans). I'm sure that they would still have them there.

The spelling is unusual. I think it's beignets. The only place I know of that has them is Sassagoula Floatworks and Food Factory at Port Orleans French Quarter.

Not sure about the walk but its easy to take the boat from POR to POFQ.

10 minutes from the Royal Rooms, maybe 15-20 from the far rooms at the Bayou

To rehash an old argument, they are not exactly authentic with respect to New Orleans beignets, BUT...

They are still fried dough with sugar - which tastes good - and are a better value IMO than a funnel cake.

I enjoy them (and love the shrimp and grits) at POFQ. Opinions - as always - vary.

The ones at PO are not traditional beignets by any means, but they are good.
You can also get them in France at Les Halles Boulangerie Patisserie bakery. Also different, but very good.
