Where to find a supermarket???

Hi,

it will be our first trip to WDW...
and we just askes ourselves... if there is any supermarket where we could buy some things like Deo, and so on...
Is there maybe one at DD?

The closest supermarket is Goodings which is on Rte 535 at the other end of Hotel Plaza Blvd from Downtown Disney marketplace. It is quite expensive. The distance is not exactly walkable.

From Goodings, if you went another few blocks north on 535 (away from I-4, I'm not exactly surehow far) there is a much cheaper supermarket.

I'm told there is a nice supermarket on 192 west of the south Disney entry, again I don't know exactly how far.

No Disney transportation serves any non-Disney markets. Ice cream has a chance of surviving a trip only if you take a taxi all the way back to your resort (one-seat ride).

Depends on where you are staying -

I shopped at Goodings once and never again - way too expensive. It is where the tourists shop, not the locals.

There is a super Target off of 417 just follow the signs to the airport you will get on 417 about 5 miles down the road you will see John Young Pkwy there is a target to the right and a publix (ithink)to the left....once you leave disney property it will take you 5 minutes max.. butthere is a 1.00 toll and 25c to get back on ...
