My husband has a business trip in Orlando in May. We get to stay at the Gaylord Palms free for a 3 day getaway. We will be going to Disney World everyday of our trip. This will be our 5th trip! I was wondering what places would you recommend to eat at?! We have 3 children who love fun meals/characters! I was thinking any of these..
- Crystal Palace dinner
- Boma breakfast
- Chef Mickeys breakfast
-The Wave??
Please tell me suggestions!!!

what a great trip! Tell us more, are you looking for character meals, more in the park or in the resorts? Any type of favorite foods or real strong dislikes?

Also, for you viewing pleasure :) here is a link to the DIS Menus mainpage. There is a search feature for types of meals/locations and a listing of all the places

have fun planning!!

Since it is only 3 days I would like to have only 1 or 2 character meals. I was thinking on the Magic Kingdom day that I could go to a breakfast near MK and take the monarail to MK after. (But i just don't know which character meal for breakfast), and I would like places in the resorts too. I am not sure we will be going to epcot, or DHS and everything. Please any suggestions are welcome! Thank you:)

Crystal Palace dinner is excellent!!! Food is delicious, and entertainment from the characters is so cute and the kids have lots of fun there.

Chef Mickey's breakfast is wonderful! We loved the food there, and the character interaction was also terrific. There was a HUGE tour group there at the same time as us but somehow it still did not seem too crowded in the restaurant, even though it was a buffet! They took our picture when we first entered, and we bought the photo package (totally worth it!!!). Highly recommended!!

We also enjoyed the breakfast at Hollywood & Vine at DHS. Our kids are into Playhouse Disney so they loved those characters, the food was great also.

Another nice one was 1900 Park Fare at the Grand Floridian. We went there for dinner. Cinderella, Prince Charming, the stepmother and stepsisters are there and it is so much fun. I have 2 boys but it was still very nice even though it was princess-themed. Food was great, although DH was not crazy about it. But I loved it. We will try this next time for the breakfast with Mary Poppins, Alice and the Mad Hatter and Tigger & Pooh.

I have also heard great things about the character breakfast at Cape May Cafe. Since we are now DVC members at Boardwalk Villas, we will be going there for our last morning each trip for a character breakfast (as long as they have it of course!). I hear the dinner there is good too, the clambake all-you-can-eat!

We also enjoyed the Biergarten at Epcot in Germany. It is a German buffet with delicious food (and really has something for everyone, including a children's section). They have Oktoberfest shows each evening during dinner and it is wonderful and the kids all seem to really enjoy it too!

so it may come down to which charcters you want to see. Princesses, stitich, mickey pooh....any preference?

Both breakfast and dinner at Crystal Palace are very good (haven't had lunch there but would imagine it would good too!). Breakfast there can have a bonus if you book an early meal (on a non-morning EMH day), you can get in up to an hour before the park opens and get some wonderful photos of the castle without all the people in the way! I usually try for an 8 a.m. seating.

I've never tried any of the other's you mention (except Boma -- but for dinner).
