Where to eat your packed lunch

You’ve brought your own food into the park. Now it’s time to eat it. You wander around to find a random place to sit down. 20 minutes later and still no luck.

This was what happened to me last time. This time, I’d like to have some plans in mind rather than aimlessly wandering around. In each park, where can you find a place to sit down to eat your packed lunch (preferably in the shade)?

If I were in the Magic Kingdom I would head over to Tom Sawyer's Island. Do you remember when Aunt Polly's used to serve deli sandwiches on the Island? That was such a nice quiet lunch. Perhaps too undiscovered and that is why it no longer exists. But I would definitely take the raft over and enjoy the cool quiet of TSI for lunch.

MK benches outside Swiss Family Tree House or Buzz or Indy Speedway
Epcot underpass near either Innovensions pavilion or benches around lagoon
DHS tables near ABC or on Sunset Blvd
AK Outside Tusker House or Asia near Yak & Yeti

Or you can just do what many other do and take up a few tables in a quick service restaurant while others who bought food in there have to stand and eat (happened to us a couple of times)

We sit upstairs at the train station as it is close to the lockers where we keep our lunch and there are chairs and tables up there. We eat on the benches outside the lockers at EPCOT and HS.

It was open in April.

Yes with chips, fruit and beverages not lunch.
Still TSI as a whole is a nice cool quiet place to sit where other people won't get grouchy at you.

Monorail between MK and TTC (we ate a sandwich on there on Thursday- delightful.)
2nd Floor of the Wilderness Lodge Lobby
Convention Floor of the Contemporary
Seating outside of the Yacht/Beach club overlooking the pool (shaded)
Boardwalk Inn side near the elevator (go in the lobby, hang a right, go past the bathrooms and elevator. There's a bench by the side door. Had a nice packed lunch here on Friday)

MK- Train Station Benches, Rockers outside HoP (to the right of the door), Benches in the POTC entrance (closed last week though), Tom Sawyer Rockers
EP- Morocco back on the left side where there's a water fountain and a big 2 story open area, China pre-show bench area, Canada pre-show area, Underneath the overhang at The Land up near the entrance, Benches near the Soarin' desk/restrooms at The Land.
AK- Just as you enter Asia to the right there are tables down near the river that are out of the way, Overhang in Asia near EE bathrooms (left of the pathway), Behind the Tree of Life on the back walkway area.
HS- Benches near ToT entrance/exit, "Cool off" spot in what used to be Legend of Jack Sparrow, Benches by 50's Prime Time (some are shaded)
