Where to eat with picky kids at AKL?

We want to explore AKL this trip (hopefully for a future trip). So I thought we would do dinner there after our day at AK. However my 4yo and 2yo have turned into picky little eaters lately. Actually they eat a pretty wide selection at home but anything that looks different then what mommy makes can cause a fit.

So which restaurant would we have the best luck with - Boma, Jiko or Sanaa?

I was considering Sanaa because even if they didn't eat they would enjoy the savannah view.

I was just at AKV in August with very picky 4 and 7 year olds. I loved the food at Sanaa, but the kids didn's so much. We had very good luck at Boma and the Mara. Didn't try Jiko. Boma has fries, chicken nuggest, a roast (I can't remember if it was beef or pork), and some different salads. There are so many thing at the buffet that they will be able to find something they like. That being said, my kids typically eat very little when we go to Disney more so due to the excitement of their surroundings than the food itself.

I'd recommend Boma. My kids like it, and they can be picky. There's the usual chicken nuggets, plain pasta, sauce if they want, and fries, and my kids love the desserts. With the buffet, you can see if they want to try anything else.

We explored AKL a few years ago - had dinner at Boma and walked around the resort. We fell in love with it and stayed there last year. We just booked January 2010 there as well with the buy 4 get three free deal.

I agree with the previous posters. Boma's has a small kids buffet section. Even my picky sister-in-law ate off the kids buffet! LOL

I also recommend Boma. My DD6 is very picky, and she can find enough to eat at Boma with the kids' offerings and fruit. She will occasionally sample something else because she knows she doesn't have to eat it if she doesn't like it.

This may sound like a strange idea, but what about the pool bar? At the Maji Pool Bar at the AK Villas, they offer:

another thought might be to do breakfast there. We had breakfast at Boma and loved it. Gave us a chance to explore AKL a bit tool.
