Just looking for opinions. we'll be on the road at 6:30am but it will be about 4pm before we get to the parks and then we have to sort out APs.
I was thinking of booking Blue Lagoon for after the parade but I'm worried the kids will be too tired to enjoy it. There will be 4 kids, ages 3, 6, 7 and 8.
What do you think? Definitely want to have something booked in case there's queues etc.

I don't think I'd go for a proper sit down meal after a long day on the road. I'd probably book a buffet restaurant either in the park or at the hotel, depending on where I was staying. Alternatively I might just get a quick dinner at Earl of Sandwich before having an early night.

We usually book at the hotel - at least that way you can collapse in bed immediately afterwards!

We're staying offsite and there's no restaurant in the complex so that's out. Otherwise that would have been ideal.

We have booked BL for our first night for after parade. Thinking a sit down will be needed by then!

Was thinking about rainforest cafe, but no bookings can be made. I'd pop to EoS or book a meal in of onsite hotel's buffets.

I was thinking of RC as we definitely want to go there, but for now I've booked BL. wish I had more days to fit in all the meals I want to do!

We like Annettes Diner on arrival day.

I would recommend trying something easier if theres a possibility you will all be tired. The last thing you want is a reservation somewhere you really want to eat and not enjoying it because or tiredness! We did that when we went to DL and we were so jet lagged we were falling asleep by the time our mains came out and it was the only restaurant we had really wanted to eat in!

Have a great trip :-)

If you are at the Adagio you've got at least 10 restaurants and sandwich places within a 5 minute walk.

Seriously everything from a full steak meal down to McDo.

Just across the road is the entrance to the VdE shopping center with all the restaurants - it's really easy and much cheaper than anything in the parks for that first night. :)

Have to agree with Carrie - In comparison, we ate Chinese in VdE and with 2 drinks for ourselves, mains, sides and two kids meals the total was €55 - RFC was similar in that we had 2 drinks and it was €110! There was a lovely looking Italian which looked to be better value again!

Thanks! sounds like a great shopping centre.

Hoping to get a bit if lunch at VDE as we'll arrive at adagio around 1pm but room won't be ready until 3pm. Then head to the parks after that and stay for the evening.

I really like the canas y tapas restaurant at the place de toscane (1 minute walk from adagio).

I have frequented this Spanish restaurant a lot of times!
