We have one night with a car and was wondering where to eat. Would like kid friendly, love seafood and bbq. Any suggestions would be great. Thanks

Kissimmee has just about every type of restaurant available so I would suggest you google Kissimmee restaurants and see what you like. Otherwise, you are going to get so many opinions, your head will spin.

This isn't seafood or BBQ, but DD really enjoyed Chevys Fresh Mex (think that is right). It is easy to find as it is right outside the road from DTD. The night we were there (Tuesday) it was kids eat free and they had a Balloon designer who made some amazing balloon creations for the kiddos. We live in ME and have wonderful seafood here, so that usually isn't what we go for when on vacation. Good Luck

Joe's Crab Shack is not that far from DTD. They also have a sundae bar.
To get there take Hotel Plaza Blvd (aka the road DTD is on) to 535 make a left at the light stay in the inside lane and Joe's is just on the left at the 2nd red light on 535.

PP mention Chevy's and it is a good place too. Wed are $3.50 margarita night. Where ever you decide to go, I would go around 4:00 pm to bet the huge dinner crowds. behind Chevy's are the following places to eat: BW3, Fuddrucker, Taco Bell, Sweet Tomato, Perkins.

Kevin did an off-site review of the The Bonefish Grill. The review was done a few weeks ago on the DIS. Sorry, I can't remember the date.

We like Celebration Town Tavern for seafood. As a bonus, you'll get to see Celebration, if you haven't yet had the chance. They have a website with their menu on it if you're interested.

I hope you have a very nice time.

:)

I love Chevy's, it's a chain but we don't have them where I live.

Chevy's was our favorite meal on vacation! Hubs and I split the Fajitas, so good. Their chips and Pico are SOOO yummy. And we normally aren't "chain restaurant type people".

Thanks for all the suggestions. I'm thinking it might be Joe's Crab Shack..... But DH really wants to go to Margaritaville. I'm on a diet right now so I really will be happy eating anywhere.
