Where to eat near WDW?

We are getting ready to take our first DVC trip to WDW. We're renting a car and staying at the AKV-Kidani. Although we have a few meals planned on site, we'd like to venture beyond the World for cheap, good eats. Anyone have suggestions?

I did read about a place....Tomato...something. Thanks for any suggestions and help finishing the name of that restaurant.

My favorite offsite restaurant to date is Celebration Town Tavern, Located on Front St in Celebration. I wouldn't say "cheap" but very reasonable and with large portions. Vary large menu with a variety of fresh New England seafood options if that's something you might like, but definitely something for everyone.

About a 15-20 minute drive.

I have heard Logans is also good, but I haven't been personally, but my family has. There is one at the intersection of Rt 192 and S. International Dr.
Some others mentioned often are Bahama Breeze, Sweet Tomatoes, Manny's, Macaroni Grille.

"Sweet Tomatoes" is a good place to eat if you like healthy food such as salads and soups as that is what they mainly serve.

Good cheap eats I would recommend The Maine Dinner about 1500 miles north on Route 1, otherwise, I would eat at WDW because the "Magic" stops at the property line.

Sweet Tomatos at Crossroads close by DTD. It was ok. We also enjoyed Fuddruckers in that same plaza.

Hi

We found this place on our last trip (September 2010)
Santa Fe Cattle Co on SR 535 (very close).
Along the lines of Outback but better. Reasonably priced.
We liked it so much we cancelled a few Disney reservations and ate there 3 times during our last trip.

I found out after I came home that this is a chain, but Carrabba's Italian Grill was lovely--and I especially like that they have "small" and "regular" portions. I found them on a trip by myself and they have a counter overlooking the kitchen that was lovely to sit at and interact with the chefs (kinda like California Grill). Great food!

Fudruckers is always good in any town

Mmmm, we drove 30+ miles last Saturday to eat there as the local one had closed.

Our family loves the Cheesecake Factory. It is consistently good with large portions (we have 2 teenage boys), and if you love desserts there's nothing better!

We like Giordanno's. It is a very good Italian place with great deep dish pizza!!
