My dh has a medical condition and he cannot eat meat, chicken, fish or diary, like a vegan. We are staying at RPH, where are the best places for him to eat, both at parks & hotel?

Thanks, I really want to make sure he can have good food to eat!

I'm not sure, but I know that yahoo groups has a discussion group about vegetarian disney, so maybe someone on that would be able to help with Universal. We're vegetarian, but do eat dairy and eggs and we've never had a problem eating in the parks.

LOL, at first glance I thought the post read, "Where to eat for a Virgin":p

I often have to arrange for catering for events at work and we have a few vegans. Let me just say that it is sooo difficult. There is either milk or eggs in almost EVERYTHING. Even things you think would be ok for a vegetarian aren't ok for a vegan - pasta (made with eggs, although some dried pasta is not), pizza without cheese (may have milk in the dough). Some of the vegans will not eat Whey which if you look on the side of the box is in almost everything!

It sounds like your DH can eat eggs, which should make it easier. But my point is, sometimes it would seem like the food is vegan-friendly but it may not be. Have the chef check everything. Especially if it is for a medical reason.

Ask at the hotel/citywalk restaurants. In park, go to the places with an apple symbol, and then ask very specific questions. That's probably your best bet...
