Going to the YC for this first time in three weeks!
Where can my family eat breakfast early in the morning and make it to EE at the MK or Ak by 8:00am?
Can I walk to Tubbies for Breakfast? Is Epcot open that early?
My DH needs his coffee. I don't mind walking.
Thanks:D :D

Well, you can always have a pot of coffee delivered to your room first thing in the am. I know it is a bit expensive but what a great way to start the morning. You are about a ten minute walk to the Boardwalk Bakery which opens very early and has great pastries along with cold cereals, bananas and milk. There is a good restaurant right in the YC as well and at the BC the Cape May Cafe serves a nice breakfast buffet. You could also head over to the MK early and hop the monorail over to the Poly and have breakfast at the Kona Cafe. They have the best coffee in all of WDW. Too much of a hurry to stay for a sit down breakfast -- then have their coffee and a sweet roll or muffin at their coffee bar right in front of the restaurant. If you can hold off on eating til you get into the MK, the Main Street Bakery serves coffee and danish, muffins and cold cereals and fruit. If your husband really needs a cup to get him going, I'd opt for the room delivery and start the day with a smile. Have a great time.

If your looking for a full breakfast, I would go for the Yacht Club Galley, right at the Yacht Club. It is a nice resturant with good food.

I agree, YCG is a great place for a nice relaxing pre-park breakfast or a post-park lunch. It's not real busy, they have a nice 'mini' buffet or you can order off the menu. I think they may open at 7?

EPCOT doesn't open until 9am. Tubbi's is open 24 hrs and is about a 5 minute walk from the YC. You can then pick the bus up there instead of walking back to YC (to pick up the same bus). There is also a lounge in the Dolphin that serves coffee, bagels, danish and fruit in the morning.

I went over to Tubbi's while staying at the Swan over Labor Day weekend. The lines were awful.

If you just want continental, there's the Boardwalk Bakery, and the last time I was at the Beach Club they were selling muffins and pastries and coffee and orange juice and such in the lobby over by Cape May. Cape May has a character breakfast. The Swan has a place in the lobby just inside the doors that face the Dolphin that serves croissants and such, and a good breakfast buffet (I think they have characters at their buffet on Saturdays only). Beaches & Cream used to have some breakfast items but I don't think they do anymore, since the lobby kiosk opened. I don't know if the Yacht Club has anything similar in their lobby, but the Beach Club is right next door and you can catch the park bus there, too.

Beaches & Cream has pastries, fruit and such, and is open early. I will go down there and have coffe and some fruit while waiting for family to get ready. I go sit by the pool and enjoy the quiet.

i have grabbed coffee and bagels at Beaches and Cream to eat at the bus stop. Cape May Cafe is great if you want a full breakfast and still get to MK for EE.

When we stayed at the Yacht Club in August, we ate at the Yacht Club Galley for breakfast. There was no wait, service was quick and the food was excellent :)
They have a choice of a breakfast buffet or you can order off of the menu, but the buffet would be faster.
Have a great time! I will be at the YC in 2 weeks for my honeymoon! Maybe I'll see ya at the YC Galley! :)

I vote for Yacht Club Galley. Last year we were at BCV the last week of Sept and my husband and I had the most relaxing breakfast there. We just walked in with no wait. The buffet was just wonderful with yummy oatmeal and brown sugar (one of my favorites). The eggs were good, too. I would think for this time of year you could get in and out fairly quickly. OH, OH...wonderful coffee, too. I remember that I thought I could just sit all morning and drink coffee.

What about Spoodles? I've never eaten there, but it's on my to do list. We liked Cape May & Boma's for breakfast, and I brought my own coffee from home and had housekeeping bring us a small coffee maker. We also tried the Yacht Gallery, but like Cape May better....actually we didn't have a bad experience anywhere. Good luck:)
