Where to Eat Before MNSSHP?

What are some recomendations (in the Magic Kingdom) for dinner before the Halloween party?

It's just Fiance and I, and this trip will be our Honeymoon so we're just taking things slow and really enjoying everything. I've heard that counterservice can get kind of crazy during the party so we we're looking at making a reservation around 5 or 6 in the Magic Kingdom somewhere. I've already booked BOG or later in the week. What are some other places to check out? We are on the dining plan so probably would prefer table service over counter service.

We have Crystal Palace booked for 5.30pm. I'm wondering if the characters will be in Halloween costume.

If you are interested in any of the rare characters, lines begin forming around 5:30 so I would not recommend at late afternoon TS in that situation.

If you aren't interested in characters I would not schedule a TS much later than 5 or so. You want to be sure that you will be finished by the time the party starts to make the most if it since it is fairly expensive.

You have a good number if choices in the MK, I would probably choose the Plaza for before a party. They have good basic sandwiches, salads.

To the other pp who asked, the CP characters will not be in costume at the restaurant, but will be at their meet and greet.

We have reservations for BOG at 5:30, but we've eaten at Liberty Tree Tavern many other times on the day of the party. The castmembers are dressed in Haunted Mansion attire.

I've got LTT booked for 4:30 the day of our MNSSHP. I've done this in the past and have been very pleased. We get in right at 4 with our party tix and head right over to LTT, have a good dinner, and that way we don't cut into party festivities. I love the food there.
