Where to eat before Cirque du Soleil?

I'd like to find someplace to eat an early dinner before going to the 6pm show of La Nouba...any suggestions? Nothing fancy needed. Just good sandwiches, etc. The best I could come up with is Planet Hollywood. How far apart are these two? Kind of have a big group (8), and don't want to walk too far at this point. Can we make P.S.'s for Planet Hollywood? TIA!

Before I saw "La Nouba," I had dinner at House of Blues. I thought the food and atmosphere were pretty good!

We, too, like HOB much better than Planet Hollywood. It is also right next door to Cirque de Soliel.

This isn't a sitdown restaurant, but I LOVE the sandwiches at Earl of Sandwich. They are one of WDW's best bargains at $5 each.

Earl of Sandwich is located in the Marketplace section of Downtown Disney. La Nouba is located in the West Side of Downtown Disney. These two places are about as far apart as you can get in this area, but I would still say its only a 10 minute walk. I think there might be a water taxi (or something similar) to get people around, but I am not 100% sure.


I also really like Wolfgang Puck Cafe (salads, pizza, pasta). I haven't been in a few years but I thought it was a nice menu with something for everyone.

HoB and Planet Hollywood are both good. A group of 8 makes seating a little tougher.
Agree that Earle of Sandwich is very good, and just what you need. But completely apart.
I know the water taxis USE to go to the West side on on weekends. I do not know if this is the case still or not. I have not seen a boat on the West side for years. (But haven't been looking for one either. )
The walk is not far from end to end, unless it is hot, crowded, you are in a hurry, etc.
Maybe just eat at Earl and allow plenty of time for walking, depending on your group.
