Lunch or dinner, which ever? I think the Garden Grill will still be closed when we are there (June). Thanks for the ideas? I will look into the GG. Anybody else have some?

We enjoy the outside patio at Rose and Crown, even if we don't watch Illuminations. Also getting Fish, Chips, beer and catching the British Invasion in the courtyard. The Germany buffet and show is FUN! Those are my two favs for atmosphere.

Garden Grill will be open in time for the start of the 50th celebration which starts in May.

Somewhere I always thought would be kid friendly is Biergarten in Germany. I believe they have bratwurst or hot dogs on the buffet table. Plus it is a friendly atmosphere, not saying that anywhere else is not a friendly atmosphere. Maybe a little more relaxed is a better way to say it? :confused3

We like Alfredo's, but there are also several good counter service restaurants in World Showcase. The Japanese sitdown restaurant has a fun show too. I'd check out the different menus on allears to see what your family would like.

Not sure how adventurous you son is, but my daughter loved teppanyaki, when she was 4. Loved watching the cook, and eating with the kid's chopsticks. Great pictures, and lots of food. At lunch they are cheaper, but still lots of food.

I recommend Biergarten in Germany. The food is very good, and the theming is a lot of fun. San Angel Inn also has fun theming, although the food and service are not always the best there. Le Cellier gets very high marks on the DIS for the food. Teppanyaki would be a lot of fun, and the food gets decent reviews.

Happy planning! :)
