The problem is that everyplace on the West Side gets swamped after La Nouba. If you're sitting in the back row and the first ones out, trot right over to House of Blues. Yes they have a kids menu. Yes, they have good burgers, and yes they have good New Orleans cookin' and other standards. And it's big.

But there's a LOT to be said for eating someplace else to avoid the stampede. Kids that age aren't likely to do well waiting a long time to get a table. If you have a car, run over to Crossroads shopping center where there are several family-friendly options.

Planet Hollywood. We went there after La Nouba earlier this month and the food was horrid. If you must go and you ask "how's the pasta?" and they say "It's the best on the menu" order a burger. Just mho.

We love Wolfgang Puck Cafe which is very close to the Cirque tent.

HAVE FUN!

We saw La Nouba in early October. We have 4 kids and we all loved it. We called the day before and got PS at Wolfgang Puck Cafe. We went there straight after the show. We got one of those light up things that they use to tell you the table is ready. We walked around for about 10 minutes and then the lights went off. Went back and sat immediately!!! The 3 older kids had pizza which was great. I had a pasta dish which was good. DH had a terrible steak, but they made him something else quickly. Youngest DD had a burger which was raw in the middle. Food:okay....Service:very good. I recommend getting a PS. The whole area was packed! We tried to walk around a little after dinner and you could hardly move all over DTD. You will love Cirque :flower1:

Laceemouse -- Did you get the PS for the downstairs dining or the upstairs? I didn't know you could get PSs for the Cafe portion.

You can get priority seatings for both upstairs (Required for upstairs) and downstairs (suggested for downstairs) just not the express :) You would call 407-WDW-DINE

THANK YOU!!! :flower:

Unless you're planning on spending more time at DTD, I'd pick a restaurant in one of the resorts you've never tried and make a PS there. IMO, DTD is slim on eateries and getting worse with SSR coming on-line.

We are going to the 6:00 show at Cirque and decided to do something a little 'special' afterward so we have PS at the BlueZoo in the Dolphin. I have heard great things about the place and their fresh seafood. Since we are from the midwest, fresh seafood is virtually unavailable.

Another thought, if you have a vehicle, is the Ale House which is supposed to have really good food for very reasonable prices. It is just a few minutes from WDW.
