where to eat 1st day for a 1st time visitor

have just gotten my airline tickets and will be arriving in orlando at 5:30 pm - this will be our (me and 3 girls -ages 13, 10, 5) first time in wdw and I want to make it special

any help would be GREATLY appreciated

We always love going to Chef Mickeys the 1st night in the WDW. It gets you in such a Disney mood. Also, I know some may disagree, but my DH thinks the food is great there. He loves the peel and eat shrimp. It has become a tradition for our family.

I would vote for Chef Mickey's. But now they are havng the Cinderella dinner at GF, Since you have girls that might be the way to go. Either way before or after dinner hop on the Monorail do the epcot loop too.

Ditto on the Chef Mickey's or any of the meals where you don't have to enter the parks to use up a day of your pass. Chef M's really gets you in the mood. Maybe you can time it to watch fireworks from the top of the Contemporary. Also take the kids on a spin on the monorail. You might want to try the new Cinderella character dinner at the GF. Have fun deciding.
