Where to dine? Character meal or otherwise?

Hi everyone!

I am planning my first solo trip for May. I am visiting a cast member friend, but will be solo for the majority of the time while he works.
I want to thank him with an ADR somewhere.
I was thinking a character meal, but am not set on the idea.
If you were two 20 somethings, where would you choose to dine?

When a friend and I (also two 20 somethings) went in December, our favorites dining experiences were:

California Grill
bluezoo
'Ohana dinner
Crystal Palace breakfast
Jiko
Sanaa
and Turf Club

It really depends on the kind of experience and prince range you want. For something extra special, on the expensive side, and in a more adult atmosphere, I would choose:
bluezoo
Jiko
Citricos
Flying Fish

I love Cali Grill, but it's the signature with the most children.

For something unique and moderately priced, I would go with 'Ohana dinner. But this is very hard to get an ADR for.

For a moderately priced, easy to get an ADR for, and adult atmosphere meal, I would pick Sanaa or Turf Club.

I have many favorite places to eat in the DLR. In Disneyland, we enjoyed the gumbo in New Orleans Square. When we go to the DAC, we ensure that we stop at Kitchen Cucamonga Mexican Grill, Pacific Wharf Cafe, and Paradise Pier Ice Cream Co.
