I found discounted Disneyland tickets on the San Diego Vistor Information website. Has anyone bought tickets there before? I buy many things online, but theme park tickets makes me nervous. They have the 4th day free with the 3 day park hopper for cheaper than at the Disney website, and any savings help!

We (daughters 5 and 7 and husband) are going to Disneyland for the first time on Oct. 30,31, 1st, and back for a Friday on the 5th. We are so excited! I have only been to Cal. once before. We are also going to the zoo and wild animal park. We are doing Goofy's Kitchen and Ariel's Grotto. I'm bummed the castle will be covered, but we'll get over it! This board has been so helpful in planning this trip! Anyway, any comments about the tickets will be helpful!

I have not purchased through the San Diego Visitor Information website, but you should be able to get both the 5-day and the 3-day parkhopper for $129 (adult) if you buy them IN ADVANCE. The price at the gate will be higher. Always check for shipping, and also for hidden fees. Also, there may be a catch--for instance, there are tickets available to Southern Californians that are less expensive, but you have to prove residency. Anyway, too late for me but I'll head over to the website to check them out for future reference!

I found it at www.infosandiego.com. The prices were $120 for adult and $90 per child with a $5.75 shipping fee. There were no additional fees (I rechecked) and it didn't mention the So. Cal. resident, but I will call to check again. Never noticed the 5 day was almost the same price, wish we had a 5th day! I want one day to explore San Diego w/o going to a park! Thanks.

Where will you be staying? Most hotels sell park hopper tickets and may have early entry some mornings. You may want to check with your hotel before purchasing online.

I looked at that website, and it sure looks legit--the tickets look like they're the same ones you'd buy from Disney. If there's a catch, I can't find it!
