Where to buy shorts for next week??

I just checked accuweather and it's going to be 80 degrees next week in Orlando. My 13 year old niece just moved in with us at the end of Oct with literally just the clothes on her back. I bought her clothes, but since it was already well into Fall, I only bought her fall/winter clothes. She has no shorts! Where can I buy some in Orlando? I know they don't sell any at the stores here right now. If I was more organized, I would have purchased some online, but we are leaving on Sunday so there's no time for that.

I really don't want to spend our vacation time at the malls, but I'm looking for a quick run-in...like a Target or something. Just not sure where they will be selling shorts this time of the year in Orlando.

I think I saw shorts in Kohls the other day (and I'm in Chicago). Maybe you could call your local Kohls & see if they have any.

Check online at Old Navy, Target, Land's End. I had to buy shorts for the kids this time last year for a trip to Phonix and had great luck on those sites. The shorts they had were all on clearence for under $10. Gap had some, too, but they were about $15. Most places will offer a fast shipping option of some kind if needed. Look around at stores near you, some of the clearence racks still had shorts on them when I was shopping the other day.

I'm in a NW suburb of Chicago too and I saw shorts at Target, Kohl's and Wal Mart, so good luck! And they were on sale too!

Here in Minnesota all the stores started putting out shorts in the last couple of weeks. I found it particularly funny when I was at Target last week, and it was -13, to be seeing shorts on the racks.

I just got home from WDW and Walmart was the only store I made it to and they had shorts and capris out and a large selection of swimsuits.

the other option would be to go ahead and order from some of your favorite online places and just have the package sent to your hotel in Florida. (You may want to double check with the hotel) but most will hold the package for you at the front desk.

Bless you, Alicenwonder99 for taking in a child in need! What a wonderful Aunt you are! Check every clearance rack in every store. You'll find some! I was amazed that our local Costco is already pulling out their summer items! I know we're in California, but come on, Costco! We just had 5 inches of rain in less than 2 days this week. Give me a break!

JC Penney's in NW Ohio has had shorts out for about 2 weeks( when I needed them last year they didn't)

Also most sporting good stores will have shorts, and just not the "athletic" kind. You might be surprised at their variety....

I work for Wal-Mart here in florida, in softlines. And we have been getting in lots of shorts this week, especially for girls! With lots of great matching pieces & lots of the spring Mary Kate & Ashley line.
I know there are a few close by to WDW, so good luck & have a great vacation!!!

I went to Target, Kohls, and Kmart last night and no luck. Target had some spring clothes out for the little kids sizes, but not the Juniors. AND my niece wears size 0 or 1, so that makes it even harder! I was looking in the 7-14 sizes, but nothing looked mature enough for her (I don't think she wants Hello Kitty, etc).

I tried a few other stores, but it was late and everyplace closed early last night. We're going to try Walmart and Old Navy today (if they are even open today since it's New Years Day). If we don't have any luck, we're just going to wait until we get to WDW and find a Walmart there. Thanks everyone.

We never have new shorts out at the closest Walmart, Target or Kohls when we're ready to go on vacation in May. (Flagstaff, AZ)
I end up buying anything we need at Kissimmi's Super Walmart. They have everything. Except swim shoes in my son's sizes.
Are you flying or driving?
We always drive and stop in Dallas to visit family. Ahhh, the shopping mecca. You might stop at a major shopping place along the way if you're driving.
Also, the outlet mall (I think it's Belz) where they have the Disney outlet stores have awesome stores for teenage girls. We took a 17 year old with us last year and she had nothing to speak of for clothes. We bought great swimsuits, shorts, etc. She had some great - nice looking clothes that were 'hip' (is that the right word for this era).
