Where to buy magic bands ahead of time

A few months ago, I saw a "Last Jedi" band that has some effects when scanning. I went to look for it again, our trip is in early June, and they are sold out. I should have known, as it's a limited edition. Besides the park app and disney store online, any other places to buy bands ahead of time?

Not really. You might stumble across some in some of the Disney Store outlets, but that's not a given. You can try eBay, but there is no guarantee that the user hasn't already linked the band rendering it useless.

I have purchase a magic band (Princess Tiana) from eBay for less than Disney and it was not link. You have to make sure it states in the description that it is able to be link later or it is unlink. The only other issue with the star wars are the price. They charge way more than Disney plus shipping. Recently black panther band was coming out and before it was release some eBay sellers was selling it for $10/$20 more than Disney plus shipping when you can easily got it from the website for $39.99 plus shipping if under $75. I would look at the Disney blog to make sure a magicband is not coming out that you want before going that route.
