Where to buy jewelry on-site??

This is probably a strange question but here is the scenario....dd, 10, had a mother's necklace picked out for my mother's day gift, from the Disney catalogue. Of course, it was back ordered so she and dh were going to give it to me for my birthday. Well, they just got an email saying it was no longer available. Dd was quite upset, saying she could see me in front of Cinderella Castle, wearing my Mother's necklace and now it wouldn't happen. Sheesh. So, I told her I figured we could get something along those lines in WDW in three weeks. So, have any of you seen/bought somthing like that? Some kind of Disney themed mother's jewelry...you know, with a birthstone for each child? God, I hope so, otherwise the poor kid is going to melt down!!!

I remember a really nice jewelry store on Main Street in MK. I don't remember the name of it, but it's on the right as you face the castle, about 1/2 way up I think. Also, the World of Disney has a room devoted to jewelry. Some of it is pretty nice.

I think you are referring to Uptown Jewelers on Main Street. They have some great items there. We have also had great luck in the different resorts - especially the Contemporary - for nicer jewelry. Try the resorts!

Last time I was there I noticed that they sold jewelery in the small shop at the castle. Not sure whether they will have what you want but it could be worth a try.

You might also want to try World of Disney at Downtown Disney. I have seen some really nice jewelry there. ºoº
