Where to buy groceries on site?

Any of the DVC resorts sell basic groceries in the resort gift shop, like milk, juice, cereal, bread, peanut butter, lunch meat and cheese, crackers, fruit, doughnuts, chips, etc. Even the regular resort gift shops usually carry an assortments of drinks and basic snacks. For example, when I was at CR last week, I could have bought individual milk, soda, chips, candy and other snacks in the sundries store. At their quick service location, I could get sandwiches, chips, juice, fruit, milk, soda, and bottled water.

DVC gift shops would be located at Beach Club Villas, Boardwalk Villas, Villas at Wilderness Lodge, Saratoga Springs, and Old Key West. I haven't been to AKL since they started the conversion to villas, but they should be carrying food items as well. There are also three Hess convenience stores on property where you can get basic foods.

You might try the trading post at Fort Wilderness for more of a "grocery" selection.

I also suggest Fort Wilderness. They cater to campers, so have an extensive (and expensive) selection of groceries.

The selection of ready to eat or quick to fix foods at the trading posts ( in the campgrounds) has diminished over the last few years. If you are going to the campgrounds for another reason then check them out. However, as a regular camper I can not recommend anyone traveling (by Disney transportation)an hour or two to get supplies that for the most part are no different than any resort sundries store.

You might want to think about GardenGrocer. They deliver groceries right to your resort We order what we want before we leave home. We have used them 3 times and always had great service. We order milk, water, yogurt etc.

We also use a delivery service...but we use WEGOSHOP.COM. The savings alone on bottled water and beer makes it worth it!!:)

I would have to agree. I think the DVC offerings are actually better than the FW offerings these days. Maybe it's because most campers bring their groceries with them? You can probably reach a DVC resort more easily than the FW stores anyway.

It's been a while since I shopped there, so sad that FW has cut their offerings. I feel especially bad for those staying in the cabins.

I liked wegoshop.com when I used them 2 years ago.
