Hi,

As you can see our date is almost here. This will be our first visits as DVCers and I forgot what I read in these boards a long time ago, about where to buy the Annual passes and the TIW card. The cheapest online store, the better...

TIA

There are no discount websites or stores for AP's. The cheapest is DVC or FL Resident. Buy them when you get there.

Thanks,

what about the TIW? and how much does cost an AP for DVCer?

DVC Discounted AP prices:
Ages 10+: $389
Ages 3-9: $344

DVC Discounted Premium AP prices:
Ages 10+: $494
Ages 3-9: $436

Above prices are for new APs and don't include sales tax (6.5%).

TiW Card: $75 for Annual Passholders, $100 for Florida Residents who don't have an AP.

So, I only can buy AP and TIW at Guest Relations, and what about the MYW tickets?

I plan to buy 1 AP (to be able to buy the TIW) and 7 MYW with park hopper, but I am still looking for the best price.

There are wholesalers for MYW tickets, you may want to check on the theme parks board.

Sorry if this is in the wrong place to ask, but i am trying to work out if buying an annual pass and TIW will be a better option than the dining plan.

This is our first year as DVC owners and last yr we were lucky enough to have the free dining plan, so not sure how to work out if the AP and TIW will be a more cost effective option. We do usually have a counter service meal at least most days at the parks and a table service in the evening, also we have at least two breakfasts with characters but i can't seem to work out how to decide between the 2 options.

Any ideas would be v gratefully received.:)

There's no way to say without crunching the numbers for your party, the price of the AP, the price of the TiW, the estimated price for the meals you will actually eat while you're there (and then the TiW discount removed), etc. It's quite a laborious process if you really want to make a good estimate. Menus are available on allears and you can look and see what you think you would order, and the prices. I did that for a recent trip - TiW saved us around $100, but we already had APs and a TiW card from previous trips, so those costs weren't included in my calculation. But your results could end up very different depending on all the variables mentioned above.
