Where the buy MNSSHP and magic bands?

We leave for WDW next Tuesday. We decided that we would really like some magic bands and tickets to next Friday's MNSSHP. Unfortunately, I waited too late to buy them online without paying $26 in shipping! I would like to have them first thing the first day we go to the parks (HS) without it making us lose that valuable time at rope drop getting to TSM. We are not staying on property. If we got to HS well before rope drop, is there a shop accessible in that time/space between when/where we show our tickets and rope drop?

If I buy them there at the park at opening, will I be able to link them right away to take advantage of them that day?

Also, can I buy tickets to next Friday's MNSSHP at any park? And would you expect them to sell out before next Wednesday?

Another idea is to try to buy them at DD the night before??

Is there a Disney Store near you? You can buy Magic Bands at many of them. Also, even without a Magic Band, you can link the tickets to your My Disney Experience account as you (hopefully) did for your regular tickets. All you need is the number, no shipping required. The tickets will then be loaded on whichever ticket media is linked to your MDE, be it a card or a Magic Band.

I wouldn't wait as a sell-out is quite possible.

We do have a Disney store and when I called she saud they do not sell magic bands.

I have linked my tickets to MDE.

If I buy MNSSHP tix online, which option is best- print at home or will call? Do the print at home ones have a code to add to MDE or do they need to be exchanged once at the park for other tix?

With the "print at home" tickets, you don't have to add them to MDE, just enter the park with the printed tickets. There is no line for guests with the print at home tickets - they enter to the left of the Party tapstiles where iPad CMs are waiting for them.

You can purchase your MBs after you enter the park and get your first rides of the morning completed. The shop CM will use your tickets to link the MagicBands to your MDE account.

I'm fairly certain magic bands are sold at all of the ticket booths.

Yep, all the ticket booths sell plain colored bands. We don't have character-decorated bands or any of the special stuff though.

They should sell bands at World of Disney in DTD, right?

No, the MagicBands are only sold at Pin Traders in Disney Springs/DTD.

With the parking hassles, it would be easier to go to any of the Disney Resort shops and buy the MBs there.

Any tickets, printed or otherwise should still be able to be linked to MDE. Once it is, any ticket media you have will still allow you access to those ticket entitlements on your MDE account. Some people like to have hard tickets just in case, but in my opinion they have smoothed out the kinks in regards to party attendance. You can buy the bands in-park which will have a better selection. If you're going to buy them, may as well get the good ones.

My thought was, if I'm going to buy them, I may as well have them for all the entries and pictures, etc. But also, I may as well get the good ones, as you said!! Our first park will be HS. Are the ones available there different from the ones online vs the ones at DTD or the resorts? I fly in at 7pm the night before. I could stop by a resort or DTD on our way to the hotel (JW Marriott) from the airport. The ones we picked out online are Sorceror Mickey for me, Minnie one that is solid red with white polka dots for DD13, Pluto one for DD 11. Of course, we've never seen any bands in person and have only seen those that are currently on the disney website.

The Disney "EarPort" store in the Terminal has MagicBands. You can purchase them in the "link it later" mode and link them after you get to your hotel.

Do take your printed tickets to the Party as you'll have to wait in long lines at 4:00 to enter if using your MagicBands.

If you add the Shop Disney Parks app, you can find the specific locations where you can buy all 3 MagicBands that you need.
