We are going on Dec. 13 through the 16. My ADR's are for 5 adults and a 21 month old.

Sat. Dec 13 Chef Mickey at 8:15 pm.
Sunday Dec 14 Tokyo Dining at 6:45 pm
Monday Dec 15 Ohana breakfast at 8:30 am (CS the rest of the day)
Tuesday Dec 16 Fulton's Crab House at 12:30 pm

I was reading a thread that said Fulton's has bad service and just ok food. I have never been there before and I really don't even know why I chose it. I want a lunch time ADR somewhere on Disney property like a resort or downtown. I just don't know where to choose. I was thinking WCC but I've never been there either. I don't want Planet Hollywood, House of Blues, Rainforest Cafe or the Dinosaur Cafe. So I guess that really does strike out downtown disney. I want a fun restaurant that gives me that last taste of Disney magic. Where can I go??

TIA for suggestions!!!:goodvibes

What about ESPN Club at the Boardwalk? I ate there as a group of 4 adults and it was pretty good. I don't know how fun it would be for the little one, but it is a nice location with the resort to walk around in.

That's a good idea. I've ate there before. The table was too small. My DS was able to reach everything at the table and kept trying to knock things off. With a bigger group the table will be bigger too. The food was good though. I'll keep that one in mind. Thank you!

Would you like the restaurant at your resort?

Big River Grille on the Boardwalk is good too.

I've never tried big river grille. We are staying at one of the allstar resorts. I don't know which one though. I'm making the reservation this weekend. I definitely don't want to eat at the counter service restaurant there. I mean I like the food but I want to eat at a sit down restaurant on my last day. I'll check into big river grille.

Has anyone tried Whispering Canyon Cafe?

I haven't tried Whispering Canyon. I am trying it in December though. We are going at the same time. :goodvibes

We love Fulton's and have always had very good food and great service. We are going there for our special anniversary dinner in September and paying out of pocket. It is very expensive and is NOT on the dining plan.

If you would consider a park, we try to eat at Biergarten (Epcot) prior to departure - it's usually our only meal until we reach home.
OR
The Artist's Palette at Saratoga Springs has some nice offerings.

Earl of Sandwich at Downtown Disney is great!

Kona Cafe at the Poly.

I would do either Kona Cafe at the Poly or Grand Floridian Cafe and I would include some hotel hopping along the monorail if time would allow.

Otherwise, if you're going to head to the Boardwalk area, Beaches and Cream might be a nice option. I always get so depressed when it's time to leave Disney so a big gooey sundae for dessert might just hit the spot!

WCC is pretty good and a fun atmosphere, for both kids and adults. it's pretty much BBQ style food though, so if you eat BBQ for some of your counter service meals (like at Flame Tree) it may feel like a lot of the same.
