On our last full day, we will be touring MK. This will be the last park we tour because on our departure day, we will probably have to leave on ME @3-4pm, so we're doing DTD on our last day. Since this will be our last day in the parks, we want to stay as late as we can, but the MK closes at 7pm for MVMCP, which we're not going to attend.

I don't know if we want to go to a restaurant right outside the MK or go back to our resort, POR, and eat. Or do we head to DTD? Or do we forget about being tied to a TS ADR and do CS?:confused3

Probably my first choice would have been to do CP, 1900 PF, or WCC for a 6:45ish dinner but they are all booked. I thought a character or fun meal would be nice to end the trip. Of the restaurants available, I've narrowed it down to GF Cafe, Kona (we might eat there earlier in the trip), Boatwrights, or The Wave.

Thanks for the input.:goodvibes

While normally I would advise not eating at Boatwright's (it's ok but not a restaurant I would go out of my way to eat at), in your case for the last night I would make an exception. I think heading back to POR on your last night would give you a chance to relax, pack, have a decent meal, watch YeeHaw Bob for a while, maybe have a last night swim and enjoy some of the things POR has to offer.

Maybe look into booking a horse drawn carriage ride for that night. It costs about $40 or so (not 100% sure on the pricing now) for the carriage (NOT per person). The ride is really nice and you can bring drinks with you. You might want to double check how many people can ride if you choose to take one since you have a family of 5 (for some reason I think it sits 4, but you might be able to have the little one sit on your lap). They are a great way to start off a trip or cap off the last night of a trip. :thumbsup2

What about O'hana? Great food, fun atmosphere! I don't rate WCC as a must do. While the antics may be entertaining, the food is just okay. And, if you don't get a waiter/ess that is really into the schtick it isn't nearly as fun. I would end with a good meal and possibly depending on your time, you may catch Wishes during the MVMCP. Just a thought.

We're doing Ohana earlier in the trip.:thumbsup2 But thanks.:goodvibes

None of the above. Splurge on an early afternoon TS lunch in the MK (CP or LTT would be my choices). Stay until the 7pm party starts. Go back to POR and eat at the food court so you don't have to worry about timing with the busses and so you can catch Bob Jackson's show - it's in the lounge area next to Boatwrights but is VERY kid-friendly and you can bring your drink mugs/to-go soda cups in with you. He starts at 8:30.

That's a good option thanks.

Bump...anyone else? Looks like Kona Cafe is winning the poll hands down.

Have you seen the kona dinner menu? personally the dinner menu doesnt appeal to me too much. Breakfast and lunch yes. Anyway, i'd recommend you take a look. otherwise, I wouldnt give up on the ADRs you want. Check multiple times a day. By doing this (im anal and check multiple times an hour) I have always gotten the ADRs i wanted, even the hard to get ones. So dont give up! Even when your at disney get concierge & guest services at the parks to check for you. Cancellations happen all the time. Even no shows! Just walk up, cause you just might get lucky. i've seen ppl walk up to places like Crystal Palace & Le Cellier and get seated. I personally walked up to rose/crown, teppan edo, raglan road, tonys, and was seated. Good lucK!
