Where should we eat at DCA.

We are going to DCA for one day and want to know where you would eat. I really didn't want to leave the park or do any sit down dinners because we will only be able to tour the park one day. I read somewhere that there is a stand with great corndogs. We are corndog fans. Does anyone know the name or can recommend somewhere else that has yummy fast food. That's Gina

Hi funhouse,

The corn dog place is called Corn Dog Castle. It's very close to Paradise Pier.

Another place that I would recommend is the Pacific Wharf Cafe. They serve different soups and salads in bread bowls (which I think are made in the small factory next door).

I haven't eaten here myself, but I hear good things about a place called Strips, Chips, and Dips in Paradise Pier. They serve chicken strips and other things I'm sure.

Taste Pilots Grill is a great burger place. It's right by Soarin' Over California. They have a large topping bar to put stuff on your burger.

I love Strips, Dips, and Chips. In fact I had lunch there today. The best fries in either park. They have chicken strips, fish, and mozzarella sticks and all sorts of dipping sauces. I love the honey mustard.

Well fine, that's where I wanted to eat today, but my sister didn't want to so we ended up somewhere else. I actually prefer to either eat at DCA or Whitewater. I love the fries at Award wiener.

Taste pilots grill is also a nice place to eat, a bit more expensive, but then the meals are a bit bigger.

White water is the snack shop at the Grand Californian Hotel. Exit DCA out the GC gate between Grizzley River Run and Soarin and turn left it will be on your left at the end of the walkway across from the pool. When you're done hop back into DCA.

I've never eaten at Award Weiners because I don't eat beef or pork, so DL/DCA hot dogs are out for me. I wish they'd bring back turkey dogs or have a chicken-apple sausage on the menu there. Veggie dogs would also be fine. The fries there look the same as the S, D, & C ones.

Another White Water Snacks Fan here!! I love WWS!! Taste Pilot's Grill is tasty also. Last weekend we had chicken nacho's over in the Pacific wharf and they weren't too shabby!
