This is our first time in many years staying off site....actually, first time with a rental car too. We're only planning on going to Disney for 2 or 3 days and we will be park hopping (at least 2 parks per day). Where should we park? I'm leaning towards the transportation center...is this correct or does someone have a better idea?

Me? I think I'd go with MGM - smaller and more centrally located.

Park wherever you plan to close out the night. It can be rather difficult to get back to the parking area of a long-closed park if you are coming from a park with a later closing time.

I second this.

Even though there will be busses to take you back to another park if you've parked there,

1. the busses don't run very frequently to the closed park
2. There will be no trams to take you to your car
3. You would be walking to your car in the dark (parking lot lights will be off)

Since you are driving you can park hop with your car. You could always move it to the next park you are visiting.

DOAH!! :confused3

Makes sense. I didnt even think of this option....I guess we've been relying on Disney transportation too long. Why would I leave a park and wait for a bus to another park when I can just hop in my rental car? LOL.

Thanks
