Hi everyone. I have been reading your messages for a few weeks now and just joined last week. I decided to try to get my feet wet and hope I am doing everything correctly so here I go...We decided to take my DD and DS to Disney in May 2006 along with my brother in law and nephew (still trying to learn the abbreviations). We would like to stay at Pop with the meal plan for a week. I have read sometimes it is better to book online at places such as Mousesavers but I was also considering booking through AAA. This will be our first big family trip and we are very excited. I would love any suggestions on getting the most for our $$. I have learned so much from all your messages already.

I recommend dreamsunlimitedtravel.com Just like the place the last poster suggested, DU can give you AAA rates and check back for discounts. They'll also set up meal arrangements for you and help you build an itinerary. And the best part about them, they're sponsors of this board, so our business helps to keep the board running!! Oh, and they don't charge a thing!! :)

If you want to book a package and use AAA discounts you MUST book through AAA! I have contacted the above listed agencies, and they said they can give me a AAA room only rate, but they can not give me the AAA package rate, so ifyou want to do the meal plan I suggest calling AAA!

We booked our honeymoon through dreamsunlimited and it was uber easy. I would highly recommend using them.

Only AAA can do AAA packages with dining plan and airfare. Just be sure they are applying the room discount!

We had great success last year with WDWVacations.com that we found on mousesaver.com. After an initial AAA discount they found two better deals and kept changing our reservations until we finally ended up saving $800.00. The problem with booking through AAA (or any travel agent other than a Disney specialist) is that if any code or discount comes out after you book it's very difficult, almost impossible, to change your reservations to get the better deal. WDWVacations.com kept looking and finding better deals and always asked us before making the changes. They also made all of our priority seatings for us. Great people and service. Since it's free try their site for a no obligation price quote.
