Hey there Jackie! So sorry I've been MIA for so long, I've been a bad, bad DISer I had about 20 pages to catch up on, I'm afraid I had to skip all the chatter and just read your updates, I'm all up to date now though - just in time for you guys to head home, seems like that is the trend on most of the TRs I'm subscribed to!

I agree, ice cream from a dinosaur would should have been food enough for anyone!

then that look on Connor's face when you told him you weren't going to ride TOT.... Oh my gosh....

As for TOT, yes I say next trip for sure....

I informed Connor that I would not be riding Tower of Terror. I had thought I might be able to handle it, but as the day progressed, I realized there was no way I would be able to find the courage to plunge down in that elevator.

Connor also got the LGM souvenir cup -- it is very cute although I must confess that no one has used it since we have been home.

After dinner we headed to a galaxy far, far away. It would be our last ride on Star Tours before the big change. A part of me is sad to see it change -- it is one of those rides I have always loved -- but the other part of me is really excited to see the changes they are going to make.

The rest of the evening was spent packing and getting things ready to leave the next day.

UP NEXT: Some last minute shopping and saying good-bye.

Maybe next time for you and Connor and ToT.
I know I will have to disappoint anyone who loves me if they ever ask me to ride Mission:Space. I will just hope they are forgiving.

Those Pizza Planet special cups are fun. We have a few, and I use one as my 'water on my nightstand' cup. They aren't very expensive, either, and you can pull them out when you have Disney-themed parties and meals.

Star Tours is one of my favorites, too, and I am excited to see what new fun they have in store for us with the update. I hope it is just awesome.

Just so you know, it is totally unacceptable for you not to have a report going. If I cover my ears, close my eyes, and say 'Blaaah, blaaah, blaaaah!', it means I did not hear you say this is going to be over.

I hate it that Bo was not there and you had no pixie dust when you went to Guest Services. I know that was a long shot but I was hoping when CM Karen took some notes she would be able to make something happen.

I am glad the nap calmed things down a bit.

I ToT. I understand not liking it but you have got to try it once. My DS will not go on either. He will ride every other coaster in any park.

Chelsea and Connor had the saddest little faces Hopefully she will be able to see Bo and he will be able to ride ToT on the next trip. I’ll join in with saying that I will only be able to get over the end of this TR if there is a PTR soon to follow!

I am going to miss Star Tours this trip!! Even though its the one ride that makes me feel afterwards I take one for the team because I LOVE IT!! I can't wait to see the new ride!!!!

Jackie it took me 3 years to get the nerve to ride ToT but once I did it was great!! So Connor would not try it without you huh? My youngest DS & I rode it for the first time together also. My DH & oldest DS had been riding it way before we did. I still hang on the the bars though.

I know when I ride it, I will be glued to those bars.

I haven't commented on your report since October and I was craving those Mango shakes!

That mickey bar antenna is too cute! I've never seen that one before... have yall put it up on your car yet?

I still haven't put it on the car yet -- I am not sure what I am waiting for -- we still have the cheetah print Mickey head on it.

Awww, last night Sounds like you guys made the best of it, though! I'm with you on Star Tours-- upset they're changing it (I think its line is seriously underrated. One of my favorites at DHS), but excited to see what's to come!

I know Disney will do a great job on it -- I will just miss the nostalgia attached to the ride.

We've got some of those big souvenir cups from other places which go in the cabinet never to see the light of day again.

We have quite a few as well -- mugs from Typhoon Lagoon and CSR that are too big to fit in the drink holders in the car.

Well, I did ride it in 1997. I have tried all the rides at least once except for RnRC and Mission:Space.

Well, we might have booked a Free Dining package, so I think that calls for a PTR.

Back when I was first planning the trip, I had thought we might head to a park on our last day. I do this all the time. I always think we will have the energy and motivation for one last trip down Main Street. It has never managed to happen, so the next trip, I am not even going to pretend that we are going to a park on our last day. It will strictly be our departure day.

On our last morning, we took our time getting ready and packing. The only event of any interest was my last trip to the Caribbean Beach Resort gift shop. I felt the need to buy a few more souvenirs.

I bought some coconut patties for my dad and my MIL’s husband.

I picked out t-shirts for Connor and me.

Since I had been unable to find a CD of the Main Street Electrical Parade, I decided we needed the Illuminations one. I love the music from it!

We were on the road by 9:30, and the drive was pretty uneventful. Charles commented that it was the best trip we had had, and then thought he would be funny by saying, “Too bad it was our last trip.”

Silly man.

We didn’t reach home until 7:00, though. Why? Three words: Atlanta Rush Hour. Ugghh!

Our week of fun was officially over. Time for Chelsea to enter back into the real world where complete strangers didn’t stop her to wish her a Happy Birthday.
