Where on map are DVC rooms?

Could anyone tell me if the DVC rooms are in a separate location that the hotel rooms? Specifically the ocean view studio and the ocean view hotel rooms? Are they in the same buildings? Thanks.

They aren't separate. In fact, DVC points can be used to book "hotel" rooms.

So we're staying dvc, my parents are debating between hotel room and studio dvc (cash). But they don't want to be far away from us....so potentially, they could be in the same building? Maybe different floors?

DVC rooms are pretty well mixed throughout the whole resort. There really are only two buildings (connected by a 3rd that only has shops/restaurants/guest services) in the resort. Aulani refers to them as towers. Don't worry doubt the different room types, just link the reservations together and ask to be located near each other.

DVC rooms are in both towers; hotel rooms are only in the Waianae tower. See attached picture all sections with highlights are DVC rooms, the section without highlights are where the hotel rooms are located. Hope this helps.

Also you can request a "travel with" request and they will put you on the same floor close to your parents.
