where oh where is the Ice Wine, please?

So I know years ago I had delish Ice wine at LeC *YUMM*

last year DS was 9 mos and really I would have needed a whole bottle, not just the glass so we skipped it...

Upcoming trip will be 11/29 to 12/05 and I so look forward to it again, tho our LeC ressies are lunch at 12ish and dinner another night at 8:25...

I dont know that the 8:25 will be an issue, however I feel like the lunch might not work out as it may limit my visit to the new tequelia stand.

or do you mean to tell me that they have it at a stand in Canada @ Epcot?

I also LOVE Icewine... went to an Inniskillin tasting at F&W, and have been hooked ever since! We actually ended up sitting next to the winery representatives during our dinner at Le Cellier that same evening.
We got a great deal on a bottle duty free coming home from Europe. I'm hoping to make it to Niagara to visit the wineries soon.

Artist Point at the Wilderness Loge has ice wine by the bottle or glass. The Kiona is DW and my favorite. After we had it there we bought a case back home. It's like drinking a pear! Delish

Ice Wine is AMAZING! I have a bottle at home right now that DH got me for us to share on our 1 year anniversary. If you've never tried it you really should. They pick the grapes when they are frozen in straight from the vine and it makes for a very sweet wine!

Its usually on the dessert wine menu for most restaurants. Probably not all restaurants though. If you like sweet wine, plum wine (Japan or China) or port (dessert wine menu anywhere they have a dessert wine menu) or muscats will probably also tickle your tastebuds. Port is heavier though (great with a dense chocolate).

If you want to get a bottle, the wine shop in Germany will probably sell Eiswein (Ice Wine in German).

I saw Ice Wine in the shop at the Canada Pavillion in Epcot. You can buy a whole bottle and drink it in your room

go to a wine store! I see you have a location that leads me to believe Indiana - I know I was visiting my mil in Fishers IN and I saw a bottle of Inniskin Ice wine - I think they run around $25 - $65 - - I think there are varying qualities?

Icewine is expensive - a small bottle will set you back $20 if you buy a cheap wine at a local liquor store (at least, I've never seen it for less than that here) and Inniskillen or another "good" Icewine will be at least twice that. I think the cheaper wines are often syrupy. I actually prefer an Auslese, which is still pretty darn sweet - not quite as sweet, lighter and crisper, but tends to be cheaper for a better quality wine.

Yes we have it here at home in Indy, but having it at Disney where I had it for the first time is just magical for me/us. I still enjoy it rather much here at home, but to have a glass on the balcony while the elec water parade floats by sure is a nice way to finish my night off.
