The Port Orleans resorts threads? Search engine doesn't seem to be working for me.

Can somebody provide the link?

We are thinking about downgrading from the WL to either one of the Port Orleans resorts of Coronado Springs. Right now, our WL vacation is over $4,500.00 and I've already paid over $3,800.00 on the trip. If we downgrade to one of the moderates (we've already stayed at the CBR and loved it!), my trip is already paid for.

Anybody have any pros or cons for the other moderates they want to share?

We would rank POFQ #1 and POR #1A with CBR in second place.

I think POR could be considered the most beautiful resort on-site.

We absolutely, positively HATE the food court at CSR. We stayed there in 2002 and then again in 2007. I will NEVER stay there again. I would downgrade to a value before doing CSR again.

We absolutely LOVE the CSR and will be staying for the 7th time this September (and my DH offered me the Polynesian as it is our 25th wedding anniversary trip and I said I would prefer the CSR!). We have never stayed at any of the other moderates and from visiting them the only other one I might consider down the road is the POFQ (did not like Riverside or Caribbean at all). I can't suggest which one might be best for you because you don't mention if you have young kids or what. I can tell you that the Dig Site and the slide at the CSR are great (our kids loved it). My DH and I love the food court, the gift shop, the grounds and taking moonlit walks late at night after coming back from the parks; we love the spa, the quiet pools, etc.

Personally, I have stayed at both POR and POFQ. POFQ is the best resort for me. The main feature I like the most is its smaller, which means a shorter walk for my joints with arthritis (pretty much all of them). I also like the fact that resort buses stop at POFQ first before going over to POR (note: some buses go directly to parks without stopping at POR, but there doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason as to which buses will or won't go to POR). And I really enjoy the boats to DTD.
