Where NOT to eat in WDW?

No, it isn't a plug, Deb! But we have discovered the best Mexican restaurant in town (distinctly off the beaten track), a superb Spanish restaurant and an excellent fine-dining American restaurant (like a more relaxed version of Timpano), as well as the best supermarket in town (unless you head up to Whole Foods in Winter Park). The Mexican is up on West Colonial, and the others are all in the Grand Oaks Shopping center at the junction of Dr Phillips and Conroy Road. A real discovery!

outside of Disney we LOVE the outback, I am already thinking of the gorgeous onion soup with bread and cheese on top

We like the Outback too - love sitting at the bar waiting for our 'take-out' - the chips (fries) were a bit ropey when we last went in August though.

Mind you I like KFC , you actually get plenty of chicken and the fries (wedges) are fantastic.

Do not get the oppoerunity to dine out too much, my son doesn't have the patience for it.

Ooohh yes I love there bloomin' Onions :goodvibes :)

We ate at the rose and crown this year and didn't find anything bad with the food apart from the kids portions are very small (my kids are big eaters). The service was ok but nothing to shout about. So I dont think we would go back there.
