Where is your favorite place to eat lunch at CA? We don't care if it's counter or sitdown, we just want something really good. We aren't very picky either.
Thanks! :earsgirl:

We usually walk out the Grand Californian exit and eat at White Water Snacks. It is usually less crowded and the food is good.

That was going to be my top recommendation as well...never anyone at Whitewater snack and you can sit next to the pool at GC.

If not, the hot dog counter on Hollywood ave is good counter service (the Caesar dog is my favorite).

If not there, Ariel's is a very nice sit down meal w/the characters (but pricier than the other options).

Avoid the McDs near Mullholland Dr

The Tortilla factory has nice stuff as well and usually a band in the courtyard area.

Ariel's Grotto for character dining. But I usually haunt the Hamburger place next to Soarin' (can't recall the name right now.)

We love all of the above as well - but there is also the place that sells Boudins Sourdough breadbowls with the clam chowder in it!!!! It's over in the Pacific Wharf area. Yummy!

My family likes the Mexican food in the wharf area, But have bad experience with Ariel's Grotto. Food was not good quality and service was bad. JMHO

Taste Pilot's
(where great food really IS rocket science)

Love that place.

I like to get a glass of wine from the wine bar, then get either a sandwich or a bowl of soup from Boudin.

I like the Taste Pilot's Grill.

Also, in the Wharf area, if you take the bread and torilla tour, you can receive free samples. I don't know if you can take the tour many times and fill up on free samples, though. It doesn't seem right to me to eat a lot of samples!

I have to agree with the above, on both items.
I have had very good experiences with the Mexican food in the wharf area (they have the best rice pudding I have every had, and the tacos were very good as well).
After my bad experience with Ariel's grotto, I never gave it another chance.

I really like the Taste Pilot's Grill. We also love the Corndog Castle on the boardwalk, it's right next to Mulholland Madness. Those corndogs are to die for! :earsgirl:

My friends and I just ate at Ariel's yesterday. We all enjoyed our meals. The service wasn't bad (esp. considering it was our waiter's first day) and we had probably the best character interaction we've ever seen.

Should have done that...most of the food seems to be in the back of the park!!

The pizza place all the way back in Paradise Pier, I think it's called Pizza Oooh Mow Mow? The pizza has improved a lot and we really liked it. I think they also have salads and pasta. The decor is surf shop style, very cute.
