I thuink this site" www.mapquest.com" has a better picture of it, ( i don't think most of it is built on the google earth site) and put in the address 2600 N. Old Lake Wilson Rd, kissimmee, FL, 34747-2124.

The problem with google earth (or any of the aerial photo sites) is that they still show Windsor Hills Resort from when it was an empty field 2 years ago! lol... so you're not going to see much in terms of what's there today. Keep in mind it's all brand new, just built in 2005.

The aerial / satellite photo you refer to on the Windsorhillsrent.com website IS accurate in terms of the resort's location...they just went and put a "star" where the other sites will show you an empty field!

The mapquest.com picture is a lot better, you can at least see there's streets / etc... interestingly, you can see that it was taken during early construction 2005, since a few homes / lots can be seen but much of it is still vacant. You can see where the townhomes are being built and the condos / clubhouse, for instance!

In 4 short days I'll be heading there.... YAY!

Microsoft Visual Earth just recently updated their "Birds Eye View" feature to include the Windsor Hills resort area... I understand that it may still be a little out of date, but it is certainly farther along than an empty field now!

Check it out. We will be staying in the condos in May at www.magicalgetaway.net . This is our first attempt at renting like this but I am strangely at peace considering how well the process has gone so far.

That's actually a really great picture, thanks for posting it! You can see the clubhouse, the townhomes and condos all built, the playground in place, and the last homes being built on the western side of the resort. I can tell it was completed prior to Nov 2006, since the recreation area is still just a patch of dirt! I can also tell though it was after May 2005, we were there in May 2005 and most of the townhomes were still under construction, and the resort pool wasn't even open yet. I wonder who's white car that is in my driveway...hmmm....
