Where is this tree?? (Hojo Webcam view...)

I am wondering, because I was watching the fireworks tonight on the Hojo webcam, and started wondering where this big tree is (to the right of the matterhorn in this pic.) How many times have I walked past this tree, etc. It is so huge! Does anyone know how old it is?

That tree looks like it was added --? I We have some old growth on our land--Think small red woods--so in looking at the surounding area that tree does not fit. Did you see it live? I wonder if it is one of the trees near the Hojo camera? The hotel used to have large Pine-- I think that is what they were in front of the view rooms. There was a time a few of the trees obstructed the view in a view room. I know they trimmed them a couple of years ago. Let us know what you find out.


Look at Matterhorn V the tree in ?. Must be as CDanger stated tree is clsoe to camera lens.

The tree looks huge because it is very close to the camera. Here is a street view of their property and you can see all the different trees there.

I don't believe the tree belongs to the Disneyland Resort, most likely it's as CDanger says and just near the camera.

Agreed, it looks like it's just the very top of a tree poking up right in front of the camera.

Thanks everyone for your replies, and I agree that's what it is - it is so weird though when viewing on the camera it always looks like it's smack dab in the midst of Disneyland, next to the matterhorn. I feel so silly now, lol.

Funny what cameras can do though, in regards to perception.
