My daughter wants to do the Merida meet and greet at DL. Where is it located and what is the best time to go to it?

It's right in front of Small World. We got there about 30 min after park opens & she came out a few min later. Have fun!

Yes, it's pretty close toghether. As you walk towards Small World, you'll see PFF towards your left and Merida on your right.

We saw Brave a couple days ago - I LOVE this movie! No prince needed! I'm super excited to meet her myself, and I know my DD is too!

Good to know! I'm taking DD to see Brave tonight, and I am fairly certain that it will cause her to feel as if she just HAS to meet Merida when we go to DL.

and she is now having a nap with the Merida doll Daddy bought her. (the bigger one that looks like a toddler) She knows we are going to Disneyland and now has added meeting Merida to her list of Snow White (her first favourite) and Rapunzal .

I don't think we've ever done a meet and greet, but I believe we're going to make an exception for Merida. I just wish we could see Brave in the theater at DTD but it won't be playing next weekend. My daughter has been at her grandmother's for a couple of weeks and I'll be picking her up on the way, so we have no possibility of seeing it before we go.

My girls were so stoked to see Merida this trip. Be warned even though the line will look short it is still a good wait. I loved that she took her time with all of the kids. The girls even got to shoot with a bow and arrow after meeting her. It was one of their favorite parts of our trip :)

WHAT! I wanna shoot the bow and arrow too! :lmao: That sounds so cool. I just saw BRAVE last night. What an awesome movie. This movie really represents strong independent females who fight for what they believe is right, and win. WAY TO GO DISNEY! :thumbsup2 I am so excited to meet her. She is one very cool princess. It's nice to see Disney create another princess like Mulan who is tomboyish and fights for what she wants, rather then fluttering around singing with the birds.

Our Merida was very chatty and engaging. She had a pretty good brogue, too. We were expecting a greeting, a photo, and to be on our way, but she kept asking the kids questions to keep the conversation going (and to involve the animated cubs). It made the line move pretty slowly, but we got more for our wait than we expected. May vary with which Merida you get, time of day, etc.

The coloring pages were before the meet-n-greet, the "spin your fate" wheel was covered up, and the bow and arrow were after the greeting.

Those of you who were there already. Do you remember how long the wait was exactly, and what time of the day were you there?

We waited just around 30 minutes this past Friday to meet her. We got in line at 9:15 am and walked away around 9:45 am.
I must add that it was a crazy slow day at DL the entire day. Waiting the 30 minutes for Merida was the longest we waited for anything that day.

We were there this past week and the wait was nearly an hour. So, go early. She takes her time with each group!

Does anyone have a photo to share of the Merida at DLR?

I found this with Rapunzel as well. She was soooooo chatty! We got in line as they were just opening up the meet and greet area, and we were maybe 12th in line, and we were waiting a good half hour or more to see her. We thought maybe she was taking an early quick break or something to get a drink, but nope... Talk talk talk talk talk, joke talk talk talk, picture, talk joke, talk. :rotfl: But it was well worth our wait. I am actually happy to hear Merida is the same way. I will make sure I go see Merida first thing in the morning. I will go see her on the morning I use my EE. As long as I am at least down that way, I can head over for when she actually shows up.
