Where is the Key Under Mat at 3-DMuppet

Hi!

I have heard rumor that there is a key under the welcome mat at the 3-D Muppet Adventure.

Where is this exactly?

as you enter the Muppets before you even go through the turnstiles look to your right and you will see a window saying they are out. Look under the mat under the window.

To be a bit more specific, when you go through the turnstile, you'll have to do an almost 180, more like 120 to the right of the right most turnstile. There's a door with a mat under it. You'll have the lift the mat 75% up, and it's there. I can check this weekend to see if it's still there. We'll be in the muppets area finalizing the WDW race we're doing in 3 weeks.

I'll have to look harder next time... I saw the ticket window, and the sign, but no mat. I did find it at the MuppetVision in California Adventure, though. I got very excited and the CMs were laughing at me. My friends were impressed, but I just confirmed to them that I am Disney-crazy enough to know to check.

Now I really want to find it at MGM!

We went looking for the key in February and again in August, we pulled the mat up and no key. We asked the CM working there, he came over and looked as well, he said that someone must have taken it. Hopefully it is replaced by now.

It is so dark in that area that if you don't look very hard you will miss the doormat all together. I was able to snap a pic of DS pointing to the key when we visited this summer, but don't ya know the flash didn't work and because it was so dark in that corner, the pic is all fuzzy or i would try and post it.

I just made a special trip over to the studios to see if there was a key there for you. Yes indeedy do dah there is a key. It is bolted and super glued to the cement floor under the mat.

Isn't that right next towhere the CM's stand as you are walking in? I felt really stupid, so I didn't stop and pick up the mat.
