Where is the chart to calculate dates foe reservations?

I have a resort reservation for Disney Dec 20-27. I thought I could book dining reservations from June 20 but from the Disney rep he said go by your departure date.

anybody know where I can find the post that has the chart?

It's 180-days (not six months) from your arrival date. Not sure why the CM would have said departure!
