where is the boat launch from MK to WL

eating at WCC on first day of trip so thought i would go to MK first

As you're leaving MK,the boat docks are straight ahead of you, directly in front of the park.

1.) How long is the boat trip?

2.) How long a walk to the WL boat launch from the lobby, and is it obvious where it is located?

From The Magic Kingdom it's across from the security entrance. The Wilderness Lodge boats will have a Red Flag.

the boat dock is 16 - WWC is 3.

When walking out of the lobby, stay to your left like you are heading to Artist Point and walk down the incline to the lower level. Go through the doors to the outside and head straight towards the lake with the pool on your right. Follow the elevated wooden walkway down to the dock. Time from the lobby is less than 2-3 minutes.
