Where is the best snorkeling?

I was wondering which excursion has the best snorkeling for seeing marine life. I can't decide between Nassau and Castaway Cay. My 2 DD's have never snorkeled and I thought that they would really enjoy this. Anyone have any recommendations?

We booked a snorkeling excursion on our own at Nassau with Stuart's Cove and the snorkeling was excellent.

Unfortunately CC's snorkeling reef is mostly artificial and enclosed by a break water so naturally it doesn't support very many different species. Although I would definitely recommend it for first time snorkelers. The alternative is that you can snorkel on the adult beach which is an open water trail and should be a bit more diverse.

However, If you are looking solely for quantity of marine life, I would definitely find a trail in nassau. Good Luck.
